I am somewhat materialistic, but I think over the years I've improved dramatically; I am okay with where I am... but, like you mentioned, which, really struck a cord with me; going places and doing things with my kids. I am going to pay close attention to that. I'm also going to work on gratitude for the people in my life. Loved this post... thank you for sharing!MOMMETIMEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18114549237947026195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314126508756791961.post-50895827098687532272012-11-02T19:55:46.333-07:002012-11-02T19:55:46.333-07:00Great post! We painted it onto some poster board and cut out large colourful leaves. Every day, we thought of something we were thankful for, wrote it on a leaf and stuck it on the tree. By Thanksgiving Day, our tree was full. We've already started our tree this year. I'm hoping that simple things like this can help them to be thankful, grateful, happy and content individuals.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts here,
Kristina :)Kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16805981301672535669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314126508756791961.post-55660763264430996622012-11-02T12:49:54.877-07:002012-11-02T12:49:54.877-07:00No better teacher then us parents--GREAT POST!!!!!...No better teacher then us parents--GREAT POST!!!!!ReviewsSheRotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12097083828095846499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314126508756791961.post-14949439162268627492012-11-01T22:44:01.951-07:002012-11-01T22:44:01.951-07:00Thanks for a great reminder. When we're grateful, it's really hard to be afraid.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04583972660437767750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314126508756791961.post-46902539310739708982012-11-01T16:08:37.219-07:002012-11-01T16:08:37.219-07:00This is a great idea Aily. And about the wanting more, one of my favorite quotes is "Comparison is the thief of joy". I love that it speaks to being thankful with what you already have.
